Supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate their paths towards healing, connection, and empowerment.

Rosalind Valenza, M.S.Ed., MHC-I, is a Graduate Mental Health Clinician in New York who brings warmth, compassion, and cultural sensitivity to her work with children, teens, adults, and parents. She offers both in-person and virtual therapy and has a heartfelt passion for supporting women’s mental health at every stage of life. Rosalind helps clients navigate challenges like pre- and postnatal depression, infertility, pregnancy loss, assisted reproductive technology, motherhood, major life transitions, perimenopause, and menopause. Currently completing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands, she also holds a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and a Master’s in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from St. John’s University.

With a background in education and a lifelong commitment to serving her community, Rosalind understands the complex dynamics that shape family life and personal well-being. Before transitioning into the mental health field, she built a thriving career as both a teacher and an administrator. These experiences deepened her insight into the challenges children, families, and communities face.

A proud lifelong resident of Queens—“The World’s Borough”—Rosalind draws daily inspiration from the rich diversity of her surroundings. She is deeply committed to providing culturally responsive care and advocating for immigrant and underserved communities, ensuring every client feels seen, heard, and valued.

Rosalind’s therapeutic style is collaborative and empowering. She tailors her work to each individual’s needs, drawing from evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy, mindfulness, and holistic wellness techniques. As a NYC WorkWell Ambassador, she also encourages the integration of physical and mental health through movement, nutrition, and mindfulness.

Outside the therapy room, Rosalind enjoys walking, yoga, Pilates, cooking, dancing, meditation, and spending time with her two children, family, and friends.
