In our eating disorder therapy sessions, we provide a supportive and compassionate environment where individuals can develop the skills needed to foster a healthier relationship with food and their bodies.
Eating disorders require specialized therapy to address underlying issues, improve self-esteem, and promote long-term recovery.
We provide therapy for eating disorders such as:
Anorexia & Bulimia
Therapy for anorexia and bulimia is designed to help individuals understand and overcome the complex emotional and psychological factors driving their behaviors. Our approach combines evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to address distorted thoughts about body image, food, and self-worth. Clients learn healthier coping mechanisms, improve their emotional regulation, and develop a balanced approach to eating.
Binge Eating Disorder
Therapy for binge eating disorder focuses on helping individuals break the cycle of binge eating and develop a healthier relationship with food. Through a combination of talk therapy, nutritional guidance, and behavioral interventions, clients gain insights into the triggers of their binge eating episodes and learn strategies to manage them. Therapy promotes self-acceptance, emotional resilience, and sustainable eating habits.
Body Dysmorphia
Body dysmorphia therapy provides a safe space for individuals to explore and challenge their negative body image perceptions. Our therapists utilize techniques such as exposure and response prevention (ERP) and cognitive restructuring to help clients see their bodies in a more realistic and positive light. Therapy aims to reduce preoccupation with perceived flaws, increase self-confidence, and improve overall quality of life.
and much more.
